Online Classes can not be taken on a cell phone.
Due to the limitations and the potential incompatibility of devices such as the Chromebook, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android phone/tablets, or any other handheld smartphone or tablet-type device, we do not recommend using these devices to complete homework or assessments on Blackboard. We do welcome you to use these devices to review content in your course. While Blackboard does offer an app for iOS devices, Androids, WebOS phones, and Blackberries, these apps do not give you the full view of your course site.
Students Computer Responsibilities
As a distance education student, you will be very dependent on your computer to successfully complete your work. We recommend that you perform basic maintenance on your computer (clearing your web browser's cache, updating and running your virus scanning program on a regular basis, etc) to ensure your computer is functioning properly.
Using Wireless (Wi-Fi or Cellular Broadband) with Blackboard
We do not recommend that you take an exam or a quiz while using a wireless connection to connect to Blackboard. If at any time during your exam your connection to the wireless network is broken, Blackboard will detect that you've disconnected and it may lock you out of your exam. We strongly recommend using a computer physically wired to a network for exams and quizzes to avoid this issue.
At present Blackboard is having issues with certain versions of Internet Explorer.
To fix this do the following:
a. Open internet explorer.
b. Click on Tools in menu bar.
c. Select Compatibility View Settings.
d. Remove any and all check marks in Compatibility View and Click Close.

It seems that Safari and Chrome are not working well with Blackboard right now. If you use one of these browsers and are having problems attaching files, and taking test you will need to switch to Mozilla Firefox or IE which are working fine with Blackboard right now.
